Fans encouraged to pack Millbrook Arena this weekend!

PETERBOROUGH TIMBERMEN WELCOMING FULL CAPACITY AT MILLBROOK ARENA FOR DOUBLEHEADER WEEKEND

The Peterborough Timbermen are happy to announced that with capacity limits lifted province-wide, Millbrook Arena can once again host as many fans as can fit in the stands – please note that number is still quite small, 120, so plan accordingly. Doors open for ticket sales one hour prior to game time.

“This comes just in time for the most important weekend of our schedule,” said team Communications Director Anna Taylor. “We are halfway through the season. We’re coming off two losses but play two home games this weekend against struggling teams. Packing the arena with fans will be a big morale boost for our players.”

The Timbermen host their first-ever Friday night game at Millbrook Arena at 8 p.m. vs the Whitby Steelhawks. Saturday at 2 p.m. they host the St. Catharines ShockWave. The Timbermen occupy second place in the ALL standings, while both of this week’s opponents are tied for last place at 2-4.

Tickets do not need to be reserved in advance this week; they can be purchased at the door beginning one hour before game time. Adult tickets are $10; kids ages 5-14 are $5 and kids under five get in free.

  1. Are you sure we can buy tickets at the door? That’s what we were told two weeks ago and when we arrived at 1:15 all tickets were sold.

    1. Hi Barbara! I’m so sorry for that. That week we were asked to have people RSVP because of limited seating but didn’t get the message until the night before. Thankfully, now that Covid protocols have all been lifted, we are able to fit more fans into the arena (total capacity is 120) and tickets are ONLY available at the door.
